What is a Fanlisting?

A fanlisting is a list of fans from around the world. A website allows people to browse through the list, join, get pretty icons/codes, and update their information. More information available at: TFL101.

History/Opinion

At the thefanlistings.org message board that the Jeffrey Eugenides fanlisting was up for adoption. Being a fan of his work I applied. The Jeffrey Eugenides fanlisting was adopted from Anna.

Jeffrey Eugenides is the successful author of The Virgin Suicides and Middlesex. The first is the haunting story of the suicides of five girls in the suburbs. The second is of Cal Stephanides, a hermaphrodite living in Berlin; he traces his heredity back several generations. Jeffrey Eugenides is the recipient of many awards, including fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. In 2003 he won the Pulitzer Prize for his novel Middlesex.
